The Sheraton on the Falls has played host to many stars throughout the years, however an appearance by the Jonas Brothers has to be recognized as one of the most notable in recent memory.

Staff and management were pleased that the brothers chose the Sheraton on the Falls to host their first trip to Niagara Falls.  Nick, Kevin and Joe spent the weekend in Niagara as a break from filming of their new movie Disney’s Camp Rock 2.

The brothers enjoyed lunch at Elements Restaurant located at Niagara Parks, took a ride on the Maid of the Mist, and ended their day with dinner at our Fallsview Rainbow Dining Room at the Crowne Plaza Fallsview enjoying both the spectacular view from the restaurant and an exquisite meal

It was a pleasure to host the group, and I’d like to thank the staff for their professionalism and for hospitality they extended not only to the Jonas Brothers, but to all guests who grace the hotel.

I am pleased to announce that the Sheraton and the Falls Avenue Entertainment Complex are launching an exciting partnership with the Hard Rock Cafe, Niagara Parks, and others to sponsor  the YouDiscover concert series.  Held in Oakes Garden Theatre across from the hotel, the series is based on American Idol, and features artists going head to head with a recording contract, band makeover, and a spot on the nationally televised New Year’s Eve Concert up for grabs.  The contest runs from July 8 until August 21 with a Grand Finale planned for August 28.  Fans will be encouraged to text in votes, or vote in person at the theatre for their favourite artist with the top 4 artists competing in front a celebrity panel of judges in the Grand Finale.  Special hotel rates are available on concert dates starting at $99.00.

Tonight marks the return of the season firework displays above the Falls.  Presented by the Niagara Parks Commission from locations along the base of the gorge in front of the Falls, the shows light up the night sky and delight guests of all ages.  Shows are scheduled for 10pm Friday and Sundays beginning Victoria Day weekend and run until the end of August.  Displays are weather permitting however one of the best spots to catch the show regardless of conditions outside is from one of the Fallsview Rooms at the Sheraton.  Each Fallsview room features floor to ceiling windows and an unobstructed view of the display.
