Mayor Ted Salci drops by for a visit and ends up taking a plunge.

City TV’s Breakfast Television visited the Fallsview Waterpark in Niagara Falls Ontario Canada. Viewers of the popular morning show tuned in as “Live Eye” Host Jennifer Valentyne hosted live segments at the 3 acre Niagara Falls Waterpark between 6:30 am-9:00 am.

General Manager Ori Ovics introduced viewers to the features of the Waterpark and officially launched the Breakfast Television Viewer Contest which offers the chance to win one of three Hotel Waterpark Package Getaways, with hotel accommodations at the Sheraton on the Falls, and a set of 4 two-day waterpark passes.

Niagara Falls Mayor Ted Salci  joined Valentyne for her 8:00 am live segment,  featuring a ride on the Great Canadian Plunge Bowl. Not expecting this  Waterpark adverture, Mayor Salci was without swim trunks, but after the promise of getting a link on the Breakfast Television website for the Niagara children’s charity, ‘Project S.H.A.R.E.’, the Mayor proved he was a good sport took the ‘Plunge’ – in his work suit!

I am pleased to announce that the Sheraton and the Falls Avenue Entertainment Complex are launching an exciting partnership with the Hard Rock Cafe, Niagara Parks, and others to sponsor  the YouDiscover concert series.  Held in Oakes Garden Theatre across from the hotel, the series is based on American Idol, and features artists going head to head with a recording contract, band makeover, and a spot on the nationally televised New Year’s Eve Concert up for grabs.  The contest runs from July 8 until August 21 with a Grand Finale planned for August 28.  Fans will be encouraged to text in votes, or vote in person at the theatre for their favourite artist with the top 4 artists competing in front a celebrity panel of judges in the Grand Finale.  Special hotel rates are available on concert dates starting at $99.00.
