In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission (NFBC) and the 50th anniversary of the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge span, a special extended 12-minute fireworks display will take place over Niagara Falls on Friday, August 23 at 10 p.m. (EST).
Head down near the brink of the falls to see the fireworks up close, or visit Windows by Jamie Kennedy, located on the 14th floor of the Sheraton on the Falls, and get a window seat to enjoy a perfect panoramic view of the spectacle while enjoying dinner or dessert.
The Niagara Falls Fireworks Illuminations show is the longest running of its kind in Canada, however this one-time only celebration won’t be repeated again!
A free concert, sponsored by Coca-Cola will also be taking place on the Niagara Parkway, near the falls. The concert will feature Stone the Radio performing at Queen Victoria Park Stage. Stone the Radio covers upbeat alt rock and will be putting on a groovy show under the fireworks.
