We’ve all heard of Chris Hadfield at one point or another and now you have a chance to see him in person in Niagara Falls. Canada’s most famous astronaut will be visiting Niagara Falls in October for an evening dinner reception and stories told by the man himself. The Sky is Not the Limit, a documentary by Chris Hadfield outlines what it takes to be an astronaut with behind the scenes information on the training, skills and preparation put into becoming one.
The first Canadian to walk in space, he became well known globally through his tweets and videos about science and space travel. In 1992, out of 5,330 applicants, Mr. Hadfield was chosen to become one of four new Canadian Astronauts. Eventually he landed NASA’s Chief Captain of Communications after being assigned by the Canadian Space Agency. After his two visits in space in 2001, Chris would not stop there with his exploration of space travel and the world beyond earth. In November 2012, Chris took a trip through space again and in March 2013 gained the title of the first Canadian to command a spaceship.
