Winter Festival of Lights Set to Open November 16

While most visitors come to see Niagara Falls during the warm summer months, winter is also a spectacular time to visit. One of the highlights is the Winter Festival of Lights, which is taking place November 16th, 2019 – January 12th, 2020 throughout the tourist district.  The annual tradition is marking its 37th season this year.

This incredible illumination festival lights up Niagara Falls every winter and features an 8km route that brings you through the beautiful Niagara Parks, Dufferin Islands and surrounding tourist district. The festival route will feature stunning light displays like the illumination of the Zimmerman fountain, the world’s largest Canadian-American flag, Noah’s Ark, three-dimensional Canadian Wildlife displays in Dufferin Islands and much more.
